What is rush?

Rush is a two week period in which events are held for prospective members to learn about the fraternity and for the fraternity to learn about its future members. Events typically include information sessions to learn about AKPsi, activities to give current members and prospective members a chance to meet, and help with preparing a resume to be submitted to the fraternity.

Do I have to attend all of the events to qualify for membership?

No. However, the more events you attend the more likely it is you will be extended a bid for membership.

Do I have to be a business major to join?

Alpha Kappa Psi is open to all majors. We only require that you show an interest in business.

If I become a pledge will I be subjected to hazing?

Absolutely not. Alpha Kappa Psi upholds a strict national policy against all forms of hazing.
