Brotherhood

One of the most important reasons to join Alpha Kappa Psi is to form lasting relationships with fellow members. Some of the events we do to promote brotherhood include dances, retreats to the mountains, community service, small activities like bowling or going out to eat, and national or regional AKPsi events at locations such as Washington D.C. and Las Vegas.

Professional Development

People join Alpha Kappa Psi to start becoming the business professionals they want to be in the future. Members are exposed to a variety of situations, events, and tasks which develop their professional skill sets.

Selected Professional Development Opportunities Offered:

• Listen to the experiences of professionals
• Attend The Academy, a hands-on leadership experience
• Attend Success Institute to work on personal and professional development
• Take on an administrative position and help run the organization
• Lead or take part of a committee that is tasked with achieving an objective
• Learn what makes a good or bad interview performance by administering pledge interviews

Leadership Experience

Run for an elected position and lead the fraternity or be head of a committee and spearhead organizing an event like a community service initiative or ski trip. There are ample opportunities to take on responsibility and make things happen.
